My everyday life with the device called Tablet PC.

This is my entry to the contest #BetterWay conducted by Indiblogger and sponsored by Lenovo. 

                A decade ago there was a time where the younger generation knew that a tablet is just a medicine dosage which is taken only when there are health issues. I guess it was the era where pager devices and land line telephones were being ruling the electronic market Industry. At that time the mobile handsets were just being invented and they were known as wireless telephones and later they were known as cell phones aka mobile handsets aka mobiles. But all these devices offered a telephonic conversation and a simple text message. Still the word tablet was known as a medicine and this continued till 2009.

                Interestingly, Tablet PC concept was known to the mankind since the year 1968 and in this way 40 to 45 years of research was being done and now days a Tablet is known as a device rather than a medicine dosage. Some people utter its complete name as Tablet PC and almost everyone utters it as a Tablet which is the better way to let the surrounding people know that it’s a device and not medication. 

                Now as the various Tablets are being sold in the market, it is obvious that we the human beings are happy as well as sad about several issues related to this device Tablet PC.

                The very first issue is that we have to hold it with both the hands. One is to hold it and the other is to operate it via touch screen.

                The next issue is that the tablet PC user seems rude not because he/she seems like they are hiding some stuff by holding the device with two hands. As both the hands are involved, the surrounding members or family members shout for help and the busy tablet users either say please give me a minute or it cannot hear because of the headphones that are high end noise reducing ones. Hence, there is a need to design it so that it can stand on its own.

                The next issue is that we cannot operate Tablet by placing on a flat table. We need something below it so that we can view what is being shown on its screen. In this way it needs some sort of angled support which seems missing in almost every tablet in the market except one.  And just read further to know more about that one tablet PC which has an angled support. Therefore it needs to be as shown in the image besides. 

                The next important issue is that how to hold a Tablet PC so that our thumb does not block the passage between our eyes and the screen. At times our hand and especially thumb area starts paining not because of the long usage of tablet but because of holding it in that specific way so as to operate it. Therefore, some ergonomics must be followed and till date there is only one company which has taken a leading step and in coming few days many will copy the same. Its structure should be as shown in the image besides.

                The next issue is about charge beholding time of a tablet PC. Today it is very important to have the electronic gadgets which would have a lot of juice i.e. electric charge in it. Hence, the tablet PC is one such gadget which needs a lump sum of battery life and it should last near about a day or at least more than 12 hours of continuous usage. But the one tablet PC that I am talking about has a whopping 18 hours of battery life and it means that this gadget will have a lot of juice in it and hence we the human beings can utter the words “for those who do” and that too as loud as we can. So now you will be willing to know that brand of tablet PC with the solutions to all the above mentioned issues.   

               In this way, you might have come to know that I am talking about a tablet PC which is just launched by Lenovo and it is named as Yoga Tablet. The word yoga means that it has a lot of energy (battery life) and it can be made to stand on a table in the positions like Tilt and Stand. Hence, it is certainly a better way Tablet PC and the only one which is manufactured for those who do and do a lot of things with the help of electronic gadgets.
