When every family member was together that was the most memorable day of my life.

Well it is obvious to quote, “when every family member was together” because in this rapid paced world every minute has precious value where as the value of staying together is equally getting hiked. Now days however hard we try to make every family stay together, the task seems impossible not because of the issues within the family but because everyone has to venture here and there either to earn a living of their choice or forcefully do the job by staying in another city. Also at times people care for the earning rather than living together with the family. This is the life which almost each one of us is living together.

Fortunately, the memorable day of my life happens to be the day when every member of my family was together at our home. In my family, everyone has been assigned the home duties and almost each one of them completes those as early as possible. At times these home work tasks are never completed in time and the only reason for such incomplete tasks is either some guests have arrived or some favourite TV program is being telecast. Watching the favourite TV programs with all family members together is such a joy and it really fills the home with full of optimism. It is such that if another interesting program arrives, we start to call each other to settle down together in front of TV and watch the program with full joy.

Now let us come to the part of memorable day of my life. One day my mom taught me how to boil the tea properly the occasion was that she had some other task at hand and both the tasks were important. I was in college so I was the person who could shift the timing and I was also ok with it since it was flexible. While boiling the tea, I thought for a while and found that I could easily do this task of preparing tea for every family member and it would also speed up the entire family tasks altogether. By this time I over boiled the tea and it spilt over the gas stove. I cleaned the spilt-over myself in no time and served tea to every family member.

Everyone liked the tea and all the credit was given to me instead of giving it to my mom. My mom also said that you had prepared it well. I was refusing to accept this praise and the next day, I prepared it for the entire family. To my surprise, everyone in my family was saying that you are the champ in making tea and the way you incorporate the taste into it is remarkable. This was the most memorable day of my life when everyone in my family was together and praising me on the good work. After this, I used to prepare tea for almost every day and even today every family member of mine likes it but they try to keep me away from it since they want me to focus on earning rather than living together. It means that my family is together in my journey as well. This feeling of togetherness surely brings the motivation and strength in me to look up and give the best of my performance in any task comes in my way.

My bad times taught me to start a new life.

The bad times are inevitable parts of our life and they really come with the purpose which is to start a new life again. As mentioned in my previous post – My look up story relates to playing Cricket during my school days, I would like to mention my bad times in my sporting life. In my early school days, I used to play horrible cricket and I was a total rookie till I rediscovered on how to improve the performance in any game that we play. I used to watch TV programs and one day I saw a reality TV show which was based on finding the cricketing talent in India. The show was focused on the blooming cricketers and this show was about sending only one youngster to play for the county cricket club team of England.

I don’t remember exactly but I think that the name of the reality TV show was “Cricketing star talent hunt” and Robin Singh was the host of that show. This show was being telecast on national channel – DD1. I saw almost every episode and found the tips on how to improve performance in the game of cricket. In this way, I found my own bad tactics of playing the game and it was a real experience on how one could improve on their own merely by watching the reality TV show. One thing I noticed from this TV show was that many contestants in this show were either good studying candidates or part-time workers. It was amazing to know that the contestants for this show were studying as well as earning to live up their sporting life.

By watching this TV show, I improved my performance in all the areas of cricket game like bowling, fielding and batting. I found that the running exercise was the vital part for playing good cricket. Now it was the time for me to apply in the local cricket club and start living a sporting life. I went for the selection test and to my surprise; I had to bowl to a batsman which was left handed. It was really a bad time in my cricketing life as I had never ever bowled to this type of batsman. I tried to bowl best of the bowling attack that I had practised but eventually every ball that I bowled was invalid and this gave an impression to the selector that I am still a rookie in the game of cricket.

At that point of time, I was devastated because I had devoted most of the time playing rather than studying. Therefore, my carrier in sports was at stake and I had to choose either sports or education as my carrier and choosing both would not provide a significant result. It was clear that if I choose education as carrier then I had to start a new life again by dedicating a lot of time on studying rather than playing the lucrative sport which is cricket. In this way, I learned that even after dedicating most of the time for things that we love to do the most, it is important to posses the learn again attitude and start a new life again. Today, on the basis of my education I am doing a job and earning a living which could have been very difficult by merely playing cricket. Therefore friends, it is important to know the limits of life. Go beyond limits if you can but never get disappointed if you fail to succeed in the field of your choice. It is never late to start over again.

My look up story relates to playing Cricket during my school days.

This is my entry for the Happy Hours activity called Look Up Stories which is sponsored by Housing.com and conducted by Indiblogger.in.

As we all know that the Cricket World Cup 2015 has already started and it is obvious that it attracts almost every kid and youth. Such is the charm of the game called Cricket. In my school days, I was always fascinated by the game of cricket and I used to head home just to drop my bag, re-energize and hit the field as early as possible. I always used to look up at my friends who used to play cricket with simple techniques. At times, I used to replicate their actions and I used to get wickets of my friends by applying very less efforts.

At first I was a casual cricket player amongst my talented friends who used to play cricket perfectly. After few years of playing cricket with my friends, they found something different in me and they always waited for me to start playing cricket. At times, I used to do time pass in my house since my aim was to play just outside my house instead of heading towards the cricket ground which was half a kilometer away from my house. Some of my friends used to shout at me but they also knew that going that long distance was difficult as none of us had bicycles during those school days.

After few days, every friend of mine used to have a discussion with me regarding the game of cricket and I used to give them all the tips on how to play better cricket. These cricketing moments made me confident not only on the field but also in my studies. My friends also used to include me in the group study discussions which gave me a lot of confidence while studying in school days. I used to get positive energy just because of playing cricket together with my friends. Whenever I used to find difficulty, I always had a hope since I had good friends who always used to give me confidence.

All in all, the Cricket is the game which gave me the moments where I could find optimism about the situations that felt in front of me every now and then. Playing cricket on the field made me strong not only physically but mentally as well. The school days were amazing since because me and my friends used to go to each others house on alternate days. Obviously the reason was for playing cricket but we used to study for an hour or two and then only we used to start playing cricket. Each one of us always had a hope in our minds during our school days and it was to perform to the best of our abilities and give our hundred percent in any task whether it is related to playing, studying or anything else. Even today I and my friends are full of optimism in our approach towards the situation and moments that fall ahead of our lives.

My experience at 'Make the Axis Acquaintance' meet conducted by Axis Bank in association with BlogAdda.com.

This post is about 'Make the Axis Acquaintance' meet conducted by Axis Bank in association with BlogAdda.com.

Well, it was the Saturday 21st of February 2015 where we the bloggers were being invited to get acquainted with the new Axis Bank app. Well I could not manage to reach the venue on time but I was allowed to attend the event even after reaching the venue by near about 30 to 45 minutes late. Thank you @TeamBlogadda. Also, before starting the event, I got a call that the event is about to start as per the schedule.

As soon as I entered the hall, I found more than 20 bloggers already seated and the session had already started. At that time, I instantly made a move to jot down the points not for asking the righteous questions but for getting acquainted with the new Axis Bank app. This move also made me popular on the twitter that day watch out the twitter handle with @Blogadda or #DigitalAxis.

In that conference room there were screens on which we, the bloggers, saw the live demo of the new Axis Bank app. We were shown the live demo on how to add a beneficiary account in without knowing too much of details. The Axis Bank employees showed us that how we can add any beneficiary account by merely three details like account number, mobile number and the photo of that account holder. Here it is important to know that we can either snap a photo of the beneficiary account holder or we can add the photograph from facebook app itself. In this way the beneficiary account addition can be done immediately via the mobile banking app of Axis Bank.

The app is designed on three principles as follows:
- What you Know
- What you Have
- What you Get.

After addition, we saw that there are three options as Instant, Later and Standard. At this time the Axis Bank official - Mr. Pramod added one of the bloggers account and he also transferred Rs. 10/- to show that Instant payment can be done using the new Axis Bank app. Also, the transactions which are done frequently using this app, will be shown in the Favourite section within the app so that next time we do the same transaction we don't have to recall all the details virtually. The best thing about this app is that a limit of Rs. 10 Lakhs can be set for the beneficiary account. Also, if we want to change our mobile number associated for the mobile banking then we will have to go either in Atm or in the bank.

On the home screen we saw the first line displaying total balance and the last line contained four options as Accounts, Transfer, Recharge and Pay Bills. We were also given a demo on how to block and replace the credit card. Another important thing about this new Axis bank app is that we will be able to Switch ON or OFF our Debit Card as and when required. Sometimes we do forget our mobile pin number and in such cases we either head to online banking or the bank to get the new one. Well, now this can be done using the mobile banking app of Axis Bank.

Using the new Axis bank app the customers will earn reward points for transactions performed. After accumulation of reward points, the user can directly go to the e-commerce portal via this app and purchase products against the accumulated reward points. At last but not the least feature of this app is that it will show the dining offers nearby our vicinity and also locate the branch or ATM stations using GPS.
Pros of using the new Axis Bank app:

- If the mobile is lost, then the Debit card is also blocked.
- If the user forgets mpin, then it can be reset using the app itself without going to the internet or at the bank in person.
- First 5 days, the balance transfer limit is of Rs. 30,000/-
- More features like Mutual funds, Demat, etc would be added in future.

My Suggestion to Axis Bank app:
Please develop the app in such a way that the user would be able to switch between following two modes:
1) SMS Mode and
2) GPRS or 3G Mode.

The SMS Mode is important since the internet connectivity is very poor in some parts of our country. I know that there are limitations in this mode but the app should have this feature embedded so that the user does not gets disappointed due to poor internet connectivity.

After the few minutes of this acquaintance activity we all were provided snacks and at the end we were also being guided to the cafeteria to have lunch. I thank Axis Bank and the @TeamBlogadda for conducting this activity perfectly.
