I'm part of PADE

Theme of 18th July is Bridge.
 
My image for this theme is as follows: The bridge in the following image is quite old and because of that it has been restricted for heavy vehicles.  Also people start ignoring the old one just because the new one is stronger and wider. I have snapped this pic from the newly constructed bridge and I just forgot to step on this very old bridge and capture the image of new one. 

A bridge is known by the strength of its pillars and 

not by the number of vehicles passing through it. 

In this way, the human beings will be known for not only bridging the gap but for beholding the foundation for a long period of time as well.

Theme of 17th July is Bliss.
 
My image for this theme is as follows:  A blissful moment for all of us is "Helicopter". 

The helicopter landing area is just few meters away from my apartment and whenever I hear a sound of it, I rush towards my balcony and many a times I have forgot to carry my camera mobile handset to snap a photograph of it. Every kid in my colony starts shouting helicopter, helicopter, ........... and so on till it disappears or it takes a halt. 

Just watch this video of helicopter which I have recorded using Nokia 5220 XpressMusic handset.  Prior to that set your PC's volume to a bit higher volume so that you too utter helicopter as soon as the following video starts.



The interesting thing about this image is that It was being snapped in the year 2009 and the counter of this image in my mobile handset was 0429. Again a bliss moment of numbers 2 and 9. In this way, I guess, a helicopter will always be a bliss moment for every one of us and we all unknowingly utter its name whenever we hear its sound.

Theme of 16th July is Art.
 
My image for this theme is as follows: The following photograph is about first ever fly over bridge in my city Kolhapur. It is an art designed to simplify the journey of vehicles by extracting the obstacles where we the human beings don't like to wait and waste our time. The following architecture is being built over the railway crossing from which is the only gateway to the Kolhapur city. The photograph below was being snapped in the year 2010.

Theme of 15th July is Bokeh.
 
My image for this theme is as follows: 

When the focus is on you as an object, the background appears to be pouring a splashing spotlight so that you perform better at each moment in life. 


First of all, I would like to mention that the image attached below might not be a perfect match for the theme Bokeh. I feel that the flower plant in my balcony is the object of interest and the background is of clouds and sun both appearing in blurred format.

My image for this theme is as follows: You have a word with yourself only when you are alone. Now days some people might be missing that serene moment which would give them an opportunity to have a word with themselves.

Theme of 13th July is Window.
 
My image for this theme is as follows: The window in my house gives me an incredible sunrise view and at first I did not like those steel grills on to it. But they are for safety purpose and in this photograph you can see that the sun rays are getting deflected because of that grill which makes this pic stand out. So now I like those grills because it gave me a nice photograph early in the morning. The following photograph is being snapped in early morning of the summer 2013 using my Nokia XpressMusic 5220 mobile handset.

PADE - my entry for 12th July 2013

Theme of 12th July is Tools.
 
My image for this theme is as follows: The summer season was at its last phase and work for electricity board was to cut the branches which could interrupt the power supply. The tool used for such type of work is shown below and it really is an important tool for these employees working for electricity board. I snapped this photograph because the power supply was being cut and I rushed in balcony with my mobile Nokia XpressMusic 5220. In this way the work of smashing those extraneous tree branches was being carried out in our residential area so as to avoid short circuit of those power lines during storms and unseasonal rains.
